Hi! I'm Julia, a goldsmith and jewelry designer that creates one-of-a-kind fine jewelry. I design and create jewelry for people who value quality craftsmanship and want something totally unique to them. 

What I do

You are a unique being with your own unique passions and dreams. Being a custom jewelry designer and goldsmith allows me to tap into what makes you you and to express that through your own one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. With so many metals, gems, and shapes to choose from, you can truly express your own story through the art you choose to wear. Walking along side you to tell your story through your very own piece of jewelry is an honor and a joy. Let's get started.

 

How it all started

I have always loved jewelry. When I was little, I would sit on my mom's bathroom counter and look through her jewelry box. She had a dainty gold and ruby pinky ring (pictured below) that just happened to fit my little ring finger. For some reason, my mom let me wear that ring all the time when I was in first grade! Crazy? Maybe. But I didn't lose it, and I felt so special wearing something so beautiful!

I dove into the world of jewelry creation when I was 16. Ready for my first job, I went to a local goldsmith and asked to apprentice with him. A week after inquiring, I was seated at a bench beginning the first day of my six-year jewelry apprenticeship. After a short detour into the world of agriculture (earning a BS, MS, and my wonderful husband, Matt), my days lacked creativity and inspiration. After many hours of prayer and conversations with my husband, I bought some used equipment and launched my very own jewelry business. God miraculously opened one door after another providing connections, work, free tools, and additional education. Now my days are filled with creating beautiful custom jewelry, redesigning family heirlooms, and repairing broken pieces.
