Your permanent jewelry is thoughtfully crafted with your comfort and safety in mind. Here’s how to keep it shining beautifully and what to expect if it ever needs a little extra care:

  • Our contact-free welding process is quick, gentle, and designed for your safety—so you can enjoy the moment with confidence.
  • To keep your piece looking its best, avoid harsh chemicals and gently clean it with a soft cloth. Our jewelry is made to accompany you through everyday life, holding its beauty over time.
  • Should your permanent piece come off, we offer reattachment for just $15. If it happens within the first week, we’ll replace and reattach it at no charge—even if it’s lost. Because your story—and your jewelry—deserves lasting care.

What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a chain that is custom fit to your body and then welded on without a clasp.

What do I do if I need to remove my permanent jewelry?

Simply remove your bracelet with sharp scissors or wire cutters. If you ever want your jewelry welded back on, simply schedule an appointment or bring your chain to my next pop-up or for a complementary re-weld.

What happens if I break or lose my permanent jewelry?

Reattachment Service: If your permanent jewelry breaks, I offer reattachment for $15.

If your weld breaks and you lose your chain within 1 week of the purchase, I will replace you chain free of charge. Simply schedule an appointment and let me know what happened!

What safety precautions do I need to be aware of?

I take every precaution to make sure the process is safe for everyone.

  • Please do not to look directly at the "spark" during the welding process.
  • Please sit still during the welding process. Sudden movement could cause the welder to scratch or burn your skin. I do put a leather pad between your skin and the area I am welding to protect your skin.
  • Please make me aware of any metal allergies, if you have a pacemaker, or if you have any other condition that may make this process unsafe BEFORE having permanent jewelry put on.

Can I have a charm special ordered for me?

Absolutely! If you want a charm that I don't currently offer, please let me know what you would like at least 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment or the pop-up you plan to attend. Please email special requests to julia@juliafryerfinejewelry.com with details on what kind of metal (gold or silver), color of metal (yellow, white, or rose), and any gemstones you would like. Payment for the custom charm is due upon placing the order.

Can I get a permanent anklet or necklace?

Yes! Permanent jewelry is typically a bracelet, but anklets and necklaces are also available. While I do not recommend permanent necklaces (they tend to break easier than bracelets and anklets), I will still provide them if you desire. Please note that anklet and necklace prices are higher due to the additional chain length.

How much does permanent jewelry cost?

Since permanent jewelry is intended to last for years, I only off 14k solid gold and sterling silver (in other words, non-plated precious metals).

14k gold prices start at $110.

Sterling silver prices start at $40.
